Richard Thomson Memorial Train Giveaway

Periodically, throughout the year, AGTTA sponsors a Richard Thomson Memorial Children's Train Set Giveway. A complete train set is given away free when a lucky child's name is drawnThere is no purchase necessary; all a child (under 18) has to do is get a ticket when visiting the All Gauge Toy Train Association (AGTTA) train set up
Fill out the ticket with your first name, a phone number and date so we can call you.  You can get a ticket from someone at the dog bone layout ONE ticket per person.

This is just a way for some of our members to give back to the children.

Here is the lucky winner at AGTTA's 2017 Annual Open House - All Day meet on Dec 9th. This is Yael (on the right) he won the train set give-away.  He will share his new train with his cousin Amauri  (on the left).  They tried another time to win and figured they would hang around this time to see if their luck would change, and it did.  They are very happy to win a train set from all the fine people at the All Gauge Toy Train Association.

They gave a big thank you to all of us at AGTTA.

This is Henry, the lucky winner of the train set giveaway that took place at AGTTA's All Day meet and Open house in June.

Kai was the winner of the Train Giveaway that took place at the The Great Train Show in February at the Del Mar Fairgrounds.

Nolan was the luck winner of an O Gauge Chesapeake and Ohio freight set at the 2016 Annual Open House - All Day meet on Dec 3rd.
Joseph won the O Gauge Diesel engine, 3 freight cars, a caboose, track to build an oval 12 sections, and a cw 80 transformer at AGTTA's  Open House - All Day Father's Day Meet on June 18th.

This is Carter.  He was the winner of the first annual AGTTA train set give away held Dec 5, 2015. Also pictured are Richard Thomson and Marshal Carpenter who along with Cheryl Lyman and the AGTTA put the entire set together.
